Antes de entrar al aire Tulio recibe una carta de su hermana informándole entre otras cosas que ha enviado a su hija, y por lo tanto la sobrina de Tulio a la ciudad para ir a trabajar en el estudio con el. Tulio trata de muchas formas deshacerse de su sobrina intentando que ella se vaya por su cuenta antes de que el la corra del canal, poniéndola a hacer trabajos que no tengan que ver con el periodismo. Patricia Ana siendo más inteligente que Tulio logra poner a otros a hacer su trabajo teniendo tiempo suficiente para poner en practica sus planes pera convertirse en reportera llegando al punto de secuestrar a Bodoque y a la entrevistada para poder tomar sus lugares. Pero su momento llega al fin cuando se entera de un asalto el cual tras sobornar a Mario Hugo para tomar su lugar en el reportaje logra realizar la mejor nota del mundo y aumentar la audiencia del canal. Tulio enojado por el éxito de su sobrina (que es más de lo que el ha conseguido) intenta despedirla, pero en ese momento aparece el Señor Manguera (dueño del canal), el cual le ofrece trabajo a Patricia Ana, la cual ha cambiado su nombre por el de Patana.
